I’ve tried many 2-component epoxies that harden, but JB Weld stands out because it hardens even tougher and is incredibly easy to work with when freshly mixed. I’ve used it consistently for various repairs, and it has never let me down, even under extreme conditions. For example, my electronic toothbrush stopped working because the small plastic “finger” that activated the push-button switch on the circuit board broke. A tiny dab of JB Weld, about the size of a pinhead, on the circuit board button hardened perfectly, allowing it to make contact again when I pushed the rubber button—amazing!
I also had a side-view mirror on my car with a cracked plastic housing. Although the motor still functioned, there was a noticeable hole. I applied a generous amount of JB Weld, and you can’t even tell there was any damage. The next day, I painted it with black caliper paint, and it looked flawless. This epoxy is fantastic for repairs and has never failed me!
